I really dislike it when stuff is missing from the map and will then go and make my own maps, just knowing an area exists doesnt help much to find out how to get there anyways, so why not show it on map?

One issue with inside tab maps is some of them have so many small rooms that they just get ugly.

All the more reason to have them on a map. To me that is not ugly but practical

IMO would prefer some ugly stuff if it avoids big blank spaces in tabs......

Secret areas can be omitted from tabs for quest purposes.

Regular insides, i.e. caves, big buildings, should be tabbed.

Thanks

Secrets are annoying because they really are not secret because someone knows about them to begin with and 15 min after being made live on main 99% of the others know, then it is just annoying to have blank spaces on your map.

Hmm, I know of at least three secret caves in DL which, more than three months after they came on-line, were not known to at least two highly experienced players.

It would be nice if the internals were revealed on the tab maps piece by piece every time you discovered a new internal space...kind of a reward for searching.

It is simple enough to make your own tab maps, but they are rather ugly and I cant get them to replace the official ones without turning off the automatic updates. Still I personally prefer completeness, then I know when I have not found all possible Joker spots in a map ;)

Is there a way to have your own or someone else's TAB maps without turning off automatic updates?
Is it policy now not to have inside maps for DL? If so, why?

Since inside tab maps are not supplied, any you install would not be affected by auto-update. Only if we start sending out tab maps would they be impacted.
