I would like to see a general discussion on what types of quests YOU are interested in and like to have made?
These can range anywhere from Daily/Weekly Quests, Gods Quests, General Quests, Secret Quests, Global Quests, Item Quests etc.
All feedback, comments and suggestions are welcome.

- We obviously need an empty vial quest. Potioning is nowhere near profitable and a mid-level cost quest for cheaper vials would be a nice addition.
- Special day stones. Since we have them very seldom and usually people are (at least most of them) missing them, having quests to create stones would be a good option and would give people a chance to work together, especially from the same timezone.
- God quests need to be reworked.
Will not bother on for more, If I see these getting done I will continue for more ideas.
(I promised not to give out any ideas or comment on game progress but it's Timmy and I like him)

I never did daily quests in EL, how will they work in OL?

Agreed! I have never liked the idea of "bring me 200 steel shields", but I also was never a fan of Novac's "go kill 20 rats".
But, theres some truth to the fact that these rather simplistic 'quests' are part of the EL/OL culture. I think this thread is a great idea as it is very important to first get a feel for what the majority of players enjoy in quests. Its all about balance - we need to find a balance between: reducing grind, encouraging players to delve into the lore (as much as they need to for quests), and all while still maintaining some spontaneity (think about the EL quests and the choris' EL quest guides on the wiki - BRUTAL).
Here are some general thoughts of mine related to quests:
-Quests should vary in length
-Quests are non-imitatable (and ideally, spontaneous)
-Some quests should be truly puzzling and require "digging" into the lore a bit, or AKA apply some research & critical thinking
-Different quests could be combined and the "path to completion" is determined by the butterfly effect - i.e., based on HOW the player has responded to the NPC
-Quest rewards can be an appropriate (surprising?) way to introduce new items or skills
As for a specific suggestion, I'd like to see the rumoured permanent stat gains (similar to perks) added to the game in one of two ways. One way that I think we could introduce the the stat bonus is upon completion of a quest chain. E.g. the magician has asked you to complete a handful of tasks, and only once you complete the final quest (which is ideally randomized or personalized in some way, see above paragraph) are you awarded the +1 (active) bonus to the magic skill (and possibly a title or prefix?!)
Just some initial thoughts for now, I am interested in hearing why some quests are more appealing than others for other players! ~D

Additional ideas (not original):
- Vial quest, do some stuff to get cheaper vials, could have a limited lifetime, not a one-time thing but e.g. once a month (RL).
- Ranging quest: Similar idea to get a 10% discount on arrows & bolts. Would require to actually use the ranging skill and have a minimum ran level.
