OL a long time ago added the #on command so you could easily check if a specific player was logged in or not. With recent changes made to better support Guilds and GuildRanks the server now knows what players have logged in since the last restart and when they were last on along with their Guild & Rank.

Do we want to consider extending #on to say when the player was last logged in if it has the information? If so, and we have a long server up-time, do we want to consider a time limit, like 30 days?

In the future as other changes get into the server, we may be able to allow players some control of this, but for now there would be no player level control because #privacy already covers too much affecting Buddy requests as well as Top lists.

Unless we have #set_privacy off, I'd like this info to remain hidden

Same goes for showing our levels/x-attributes/achievements on the players online/top players pages

Maybe have a way we can choose which of those 3 we want to be made public too

Being able to fine tune control of what you want private is part of the planned long term change, just lower priority right now.

I feel that levels and x-attributes should always remain hidden by default and then have a side option to make public.
Achievements are just eh..they there for showing off what you have done really

^ My opinion for Top lists

For the #on command extension, I don't see any reason I would want to hide when I last logged in so I'd be ok with that change.

I'd add the when the last player was on, but have the default off (so people can switch it on if it's situationally useful for them). Otherwise WB/WL/CoduX view on the main stats page.

Privacy should always be number one concern, regardless of what the majority of players say. Some people do get stalkers, and that is never a good thing. if ur going to add this, WAIT untill we have more options like an ACTUAL USE of #set_privacy on/off, otherwise why even have that bloody command? honestly, yeah sure its a good addition, but not for right now, nobody needs to know this information lol

For now i would say lets leave it as it is, if u have that feature set for a future date when we have MORE info available to us that we the players can set/change when we want, then cool, if not, just leave alone

<snip>

Yup, if sharing info, always have an option to disable it, doesn't matter if most don't care, tends to matter far more for those that need it off.
