Am using Debian 9.5 with latest client Linux (1.9.5p2 16)

A few places in TD and other maps I have sunken into the ground. Other players can't see me do this. Learner asked me to restart client, after which i didn't sink into ground. Learner said it is possible bug. I am using Bloodsucker maps.

Will remove Bloodsucker maps and post results if i can replicate this.

Please look into this.

Removing bloodsucker maps probably won't fix anything since a client restart fixed the problem. Next time it happens, try leaving the map and then coming back, and I bet the holes are gone again.

Should also note that this happens when walking next to the buildings in the ruins in TD.

Will try leaving map next time it happens as well.

That's what makes it hard and points to something unusual happening in the client mangling the height map. It's hard to replicate and seems inconsistent.

I've never heard of or had it happening, but I will also let you know of coordinates if I come across this.

When you 'find' a sinkhole in a map typically means that the map file is not the same version running in game.

The issue here is we've been seeing sinkholes on maps that haven't change, and they go away ... hence why I think there is a hidden bug in the client and not a map issue.

Oh! Does the sinkhole 'fix' itself?

The ones I'm trying to track down do ... including multiple sink holes in TD which hasn't changed in many years.
