HI,

Currently some of the potions in use in game do not stack. Do players think it would be a game breaker if Magic and summon potions were made to stack and take up less inventory space?

I personally do not see a reason why they should not stack. as considering attack and defence potions stack to one inventory slot giving the "fighter" more inventory space. If Magic pots only took up one inventory space players would carry more around with them, I know i would.

I have heard about roleplaying reasons why they do not stack currently but I reckon we need to be fair to the players who are after the +5 buff for skills other than attack/defense, and who do not want to go to storage every 10 min to grab more unstack-able potions....

PS Up front honesty...I would benefit from them being stack able, but then so would every other player who decides to utilise them in their game play. More in use = more demand = more stuff to sell on market.

omg

I don't see an issue w/stacking ALL pots in inventory.

I'll play the nasty card and say that too many potions are stackable so a player with high EMU doesn't have to think about what he's carrying!

We can leave it as is if really is an issue about item selection and limitations and have these items left in storage gather dust or for the sole use of mixing classes in the case of antidote potions for example (I had like 700 of these on omg character sitting in sto at one point) OR we can make them more portable and useful in general outdoor game play and potentially create a new market demand for them.

I agree with stacking them.

I agree with the stacking of anti pots, summoning pots etc that are all singular that really have no solid explanation as to why they are singular, rather than stacked.

From a consistency standpoint I like having all pots stack. My biggest concern would be accu/Eva pots stacking in pk. These pots are very powerful and can be a huge swing in pk. This is not a huge issue now since they are not available at npc or mixable, so they are rarely used. But if they were more available, it would instantly be a no brainer to bring 5-10 of each to pk every time. At least with unstackable slots you may have to sacrifice something to do that.

Fighting in OL will always be about gear, boost potions and skill levels as every little bit helps. The fact currently is that acc/evasion are not mixable and are pretty rare drops, which limit the amount available in game. These Acc/Evasion pots currently being sold for around 1kgc each. These potions might be made even more rare if tanks and hitters are downing any available in game ones like candy because they are more transportable for use during tough PvE boss fights.

I get where you are coming from re PK use but, if someone wants to burn through 10-20kgc worth of pots to PK an afk harvester or me for that matter, then let them imo. Lets not let PK issues mess up the PvE game eg there are more non-pk maps than pk maps, and PK concerns have in the past messed up the PvE game already. ie a/d god buffs, MI, Harm, RoDs etc, and where are all these ebul PKers now?

I agree with all pots except accu/eva being made stackable, some pots i think should still have a strategic thought in when to bring them out, invis arent such a big deal, regardless if they stack or not they still weigh 10 each.
Other pots tho like magic potion, even poison anti's would be nice to have in your inv incase

Also understand OMG's view point, but cant just think for the now in how we play, have to consider future players aswell(touch wood)
