With regards to this thread/poll - does anyone have any suggestions for;
1) Name of Ore and Bar (If we are to re-name?)
2) A recommended level (I would like to see it a little lower than what it is currently, 68 is a bit far fetched if we want to 'cram' other stuff into crafting aswell)
3) Any changes to the name of the medallion?
4) Prehaps changes to the price of the books? (Currently looking around 60-70k to be able to make it).

Sounds good, but I think i'll have to ask smooms to change the colour of the ore for our clients (currently its gray/beige) to red for it to fit, but still I like it :)

Heres my take now;
1) Name of Ore and Bar (If we are to re-name?) - Blood Iron Ore, Blood Iron Bar - Inorg 5 (not 6).
2) A recommended level 60, or 62.
3) Any changes to the name of the medallion? Keep the same, or Medallion of Gathering rather than Gatherer(ererer) Medallion. [PM from Learner: "Thieve me not Medallion"]
4) Prehaps changes to the price of the books? Currently the books are; Mining/Molding/Smelting - 10k ea. Serid Med building - 10k, Gatherer(ererer) Medallion - 20k. - Total - 60k -
I'd like to see Mining/Molding/Smelting 5-7.5k ea, Serid Med building - 5k, Gatherer Medallion 10k - Total - 30-37.5k~.

Note; I'd also like to have Titanium Pickaxe Implemented in place of the normal pickaxe (Available to use on other ores aswell, knock 2 birds with 1 stone)

Another suggestion as to the name of the "ore", if it should not be Seridium:

Those medallions could be made of "fool's gold": Pyrite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrite) ...Maybe that is why they...look pretty .. but can easily break ;)
If a name of what actually is a mineral is no problem to go under "metal mining/molding/smelting" ("Hematite,  ... is the mineral form of iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3)").

Or, also keeping the grey-ish colour of the ore and bar: Antimonite  (Although I am not sure I would like to wear something crafted from that around my neck.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stibnite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimony)

I like the gatherer medallion. Medallions of Life and Mana too, I don't know if they are really needed, I guess I just like to have options as to what to wear / use :P

Med of life could be tweaked to not heal at all but just add life; Just like Med of Mana just gives additional mana. Gatherer med could have less armor/accuracy or perhaps no acc/armor bonus at all. Did not use a lot of harvester meds so I'll refrain from commenting on that.

Adding seredium medallions could be far more important than the actual function of the medallion itself. The entire OL economy works on the basis of providing those who like making stuff with the opportunity to continually strive to make different things which, in turn, feeds those who prefer killing stuff. As the game reaches the point where mixers run out of new new things to make, so the enjoyment of making existing things begins to wane, and they begin to look for new challenges. Here's where the problems begin.

In a small new game where the bulk of mixer production is concentrated in a narrow band of higher oa players, the 'knowledge barrier'  is likely to effect a sizable proportion of that group at the same time. Some will move to other games, which will reduce supply relative to demand and therefore increase prices; Some mixers will remain in game but switch to new challenges, the most likely of which is to accrue wealth for its own sake, something that will again increase prices; some may switch from mixing to combat, which has an even worse effect of prices and is a recipe for rampant inflation. As prices rise, so existing fighters are going to find it increasingly difficult to buy equipment as they are held to ransom by reducing supply and aggressive profit making. The inevitable result is a vicious spiral of decreasing enjoyment for existing players and increasing barriers to new players until the game ends up broken and unplayable.

So yes. Vote for anything that gives mixers more to mix. Doesn't matter if it's poison anti's, glue made from honey and rat piss, rabbit skin bikinis for dwarves, or even a pretty little seredium medallion that saves the poor little pk weenies from bending over to pick up death bags. The more new items are added, and the sooner it's done, the lower the risk of meltdown.

Damn I love mmorpg economics :D

Seridium Medallions would need a closer look, because the current formulas that use seridium bars also use other metal bars, so possibly some of the medallions are of different alloys.

A reminder that this Poll is still open for voting. Based on the current results so far, it would be hard for Seridium not to be brought in as harvestable.

Since this Poll looks like it will pass, Harvesting Seridium using Matter Cong & Making Seridium Bars was activated 4/15/2013

I will continue to keep an eye on this Poll, being able to make things from the bars will come in future updates after reviewing the formulas and effects of the items.
